The Creative Zen Micro is an alternative to the iPod. Slightly smaller than the Ipod mini the Zen micro boast 12 hour playback which is longer than that of the mini. An improvement over the original Zen is that the rechargeable lithium-ion battery is removable so it can be replaced.
Among the features of the 6GB Zen Micro are the touch pad controls, built in FM radio and condenser microphone for recording radio and voice. The Zen still has the ability to make play lists which was a great feature on the original but now there is also a DJ feature that will randomly play track from your entire store or just from a single album.
The 160 x 104 pixel display is electroluminescent LCD is a rather fetching blue. There is a personal organizer built in and the ability to sync with Microsoft Outlook. Additionally there is also a sleep timer and alarm although I am not sure how useful the alarm would be unless you fell asleep listening to the Zen.
