The iPod shuffle metal is the 2nd generation mp3 player from Apple. It is of truly tiny stature at less then half an inch thick and little more than one and a half by 1 inch in size.
It uses the familiar circular control panel to control song play. It comes with an equally small docking station so you can copy your music straight from CD or buy songs from the iTunes store.
As the name suggests, the casing is made of anodized aluminum and there is a clip that allows you to attach it to your clothing. This is a nice feature with it being so small.
There is 12 hour of battery life and you can recharge from the docking station. You are made aware of the power level of the battery by the light changing from green to amber to red.
Apple have another winner with this skip free solid state player that is truly ideal for when you are on the move as you will not be aware you are wearing it.
